Master's Program in Applied Mathematics

The Doctoral Program in Applied Mathematics seeks to take advantage of the full potential of CIMAT to offer a high-level doctorate in Applied Mathematics. The program is interdisciplinary and draws on the three core areas: mathematics, probability and statistics, and computer science, forming bridges between them to solve complex problems.

Admission profile

The doctorate in its different areas of specialty is aimed at graduates of master's degrees in Mathematics or related postgraduate degrees who can have full time, or outstanding undergraduate students in the opinion of the admission committee. The knowledge profile of our PhD candidates in applied mathematics is made up of the mandatory subjects taught in our master's degree in applied mathematics.
